White Necked Blackbird finally drops in

For a week or so I've been seeing a Blackbird in the area with a distinct white neck ring but every time it comes close the local Blackbird chases it off until this morning he finally dropped in for a bite of apple and I managed to grab a quick grainy shot of him.
He's a smart looking bird!

Hope he stays around for a while.

ps..we've nicknamed him the Vicar

  3. A friend gave me your site when I talked about the black bird that visits my yard. My bird also has a very white tail and is bigger than Vicar. Stopped by last year this time also.
